Having procured the four pieces of an ancient amulet, Dr. Doom invokes arcane forces that will grant him powers beyond imagination. Just when Doom has cast the spell, a chance encounter with Spider-Man causes the talisman to get lost, and soon finds its way to one Mr. Frump. The feeble character soon discovers he has gained powers on a universal scale, and it is up to Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends to find him before Dr. Doom does!
