"Merlin's Magic Marbles"
Frustrated by his constant defeats at the hands of Superman, Lex Luthor designs a machine that peers into the distant past, and thus the evil genius is able to establish contact with the ancient wizard of legend, Merlin. Luthor convinces Merlin to provide him with the means to "commit his deeds" without being caught by his pursuers.
The powerful wizard grants Lex the formula to create magic marbles that will turn him as young as a child, so he and his henchman Blinky can escape inconspicuously upon robbing the Metropolis Bank, the Metropolis Museum, and an armored truck. After each crime, the public, the authorities, and the Man of Steel himself are left baffled and confused by the brazen acts.
Will Superman be able to discover Luthor's latest ruse before the criminal mastermind makes his move on the Government Mint and throws the city into utter chaos?
First appearance of: Lex Luthor.
Also featuring: Perry White.
