Aquaman
in
"The Volcanic Monster"

A long-thought extinct volcano at the bottom of the ocean suddenly comes back to life. Aquaman and Aqualad, who are monitoring from the Aquacave, swiftly depart to Vulco's Canyon to investigate. Just when the pair arrives in the edge of the canyon, the volcano violently erupts, and from the heart of the caldera, an enormous lava monster emerges.

The creature attacks the heroes and their companions, at the same time that the eruption becomes more and more intense. The heat of the lava and the cold ocean waters provoke an immense maelstrom in the surface, that soon threatens with forming gigantic tidal waves that will destroy everything on their path.

Will Aquaman and Aqualad be able to shut down the maelstrom before disaster unfolds? And will they realize in time that their loyal friend Tusky has gotten himself caught between a rock and a lava monster?
