After the events of Doomsday Clock #12, in which Doctor Manhattan's interference in the metaverse caused one more shift in Superman's timeline, a new iteration of the DC Universe was created.  In this new reality, Wonder Woman was the world's first Super-Hero, making her debut in Queens NY, in the year 1939.  Diana of Themyscira made her presence known after saving the life of President Franklin D. Roosevelt from an assassination attempt, thus inspiring the first generation of Super-Heroes with her bravery and awe for humanity.
