Atrocitus' obsession with Krona is getting the best of him in the chapter aptly titled "Kronamania" by Peter Milligan. As his minions regain their reason and sense of self, the leader of the Red Lanterns seems to be starting to lose his to paranoia and hate. The backstories of Ratchet and Skallox serve the purpose of showing that rage has nothing to do with good or evil, and that their mission is about vindication rather than mere chaos. While this is happening, Earth sees the rise of a human Red Lantern as the subplot that was running since the start of the series reaches its culminating point. The wait was worth it, and in hindsight, it was the best way to explain Rankorr's birth; broken down through several chapters, rather than one origin issue. Oh... and what happened to Krona? In many ways this issue felt like an ending of sorts; it was fun to read and had a sense of closure.
