Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen cover the opening of an exhibition at the Metropolis Museum, when the floating head of an evil Sorcerer appears out of nowhere. While the fantastic vision intimidates those visiting the museum, a couple of hooded men steal the most valuable relics in the exhibition.

Superman attempts to stop the looters, but as soon as he tries to grab the hooded men, they vanish into thin air, and take Jimmy with them as a hostage. This will ensure that the Man of Steel will not follow them. What the captors don't know is that Jimmy counts with his Super-Signal watch, which he promptly activates, leading Superman to the Invisible Raiders' hideout.

The Sorcerer, however, would rather perish than be captured and imprisoned, so using his evil magics, unleashes a devastating Earthquake that will wipe Metropolis completely. Will Superman be able to stop the seismic menace, save Jimmy, and stop the Sorcerer and his henchmen?
