In 1992, the Pressman Toy Corporation released a board game called "The Uncanny X-Men Alert Board Game."  Initial runs of this game included inside the box a Silver Edition version of X-Men #11, which is referenced sometimes as the second printing of the aforementioned issue.

This variant is pretty much identical to the original cover, except for the background, which instead of reddish, is silver.

X-Men #11 also presents a back-up story titled "Over... again." and starring the mutant Maverick, who had been introduced not long before, in the pages of issue #5. This second feature is written by Scott Lobdell, penciled by Mark Texeira, and lettered by Lois Buhalis.
