After the action-packed events of last issue, Hawk and Dove go all "Law and Order" on us in this fourth installment of their new series. Let's talk art first: where the previous issues had been bright and alive with color, "The Interrogation" makes a 180 and uses a colder, more somber palette to match the mood of the plot. Matt Yackey gets all the kudos in this issue just for showing what an important contribution ambiance makes to the story. Another highlight of the issue was the flashback that closes a little gap in the fight from issue #3, and while I noticed it at the time, I didn't think too much of it; but wow... what a curve we get thrown here, and what an impact that otherwise insignificant thing had. Sterling Gates delivers a solid script, and for those who had been wondering, the Deadman connection is also explained here; makes sense to me. Great issue!
